I know it is the beginning of fall, but I am not ready to let go of summer yet. So this weeks seasonal sipper is a twist on a tropical margarita.

Ingredients:

2 oz of Blanco tequila or 2 oz of Tanteo Jalapeño Tequila or a brand that you have available in your area

1 oz fresh lime juice

1 oz of Pineapple Liquor or Pineapple Juice (I was lucky enough to get a bottle of Drillaud Pineapple Liquor from my sister for my birthday)

1 oz Coconut water

slices of Jalapeño

Add 2 oz of the Jalapeño tequila to your shaker (if you don’t have access to that just muddle 2-3 slices of jalapeño with blanco tequila in the bottom of the shaker)

Add the lime juice, the pineapple liqueur or pineapple juice and the coconut water and shake!

Serve over ice garnished with a lime wedge and float a few jalapeño slices on the top.

If you are not a fan of coconut or don’t have coconut water in the house don’t worry. It is just as good without it!
